ADMISSIONS TO Vasant Valley PRE- SCHOOL (FOUNDATION) FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2016-17

Total Seats available for admission to Pre-School (Foundation) - 90

(i) 25% (22 seats) - Economically Weaker Section & Disadvantaged Group as defined under the Right to Education Act, 2009. The seats for this quota will be filled through a draw of lots
(ii) 20% (18 seats)- Management Quota
(iii) 5% (5 seats) - Staff quota
(iv) 50 % (45 seats) Open general seats which are not covered under the above three categories.

The admission to open seats shall be made on the basis of fixed parameters and points as given below:

1-Neighbourhood: 25

a. 0 to 8 kms: 25
b. 8 to 12 kms: 15

2-Alumni: 20

Father: 10
Mother: 10

3- Siblings of Vasant Valley School Students: 20

4- First Born Child: 10

5-Proven Track Record of Parents*25

Friday, 1st January, 2016 Commencement of Admission Process for 2016

Friday, 1st January, 2016 to
Friday, 22nd January, 2016 Filling and submission of online forms

Monday 11th January, 2016 to
Tuesday, 26th January, 2016 Parents will be called for verification of original documents

Friday, 5th February, 2016 Uploading marks (as per point system) given to each of the children
who applied for admission under open seats.

Monday, 15th February, 2016 List of selected children (First List) and waiting list will be declared.

Tuesday, 16th February to
23rd February, 2016 Collection of Fees from parents or guardians of selected children in the First List

Monday, 29th February, 2016 Second List, if any, to be declared.

Tuesday, 1st March, 2016 to
Tuesday, 8th March, 2016 Fees from parents or guardians of selected children in the Second List

Tuesday, 31st March, 2016 Closure of admission process

Friday, 1st April, 2016 Term begins


List of supporting documents to be produced by parents at the time of verification for admission under the General Category:

1. Child's Birth Certificate to verify date of birth
2. For proof of residence, any one of the following documents is required: Ration Card, Voter I-D card, Aadhar Card/ Unique Identity Card, MTNL Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill, DJB Water Bill, Passport
3. For Alumni - School leaving certificate
4. For First Born child Affidavit by the parents confirming that the child is their first born child.
5. Proven track record of contribution or achievement to the Community and /or country by the parents: Appropriate documents
